Principles
At Acme, we believe in the power of using the digital creative community to build physical objects that further advance the humane side of Humanity.
When we communicate, whether amongst ourselves, with a client or with the community at large, we should embody these principles:
- All Communication:
- Always strive to make our message be as clear as possible.
- Follow the 3 Gates of Speech rule
Apart from following the above principles, follow these guidelines on each of these types of communication:
- Internal:
- Always assume good intention
- Seek to understand
- Be respectful of others time, give all the information you need when making a request
- Clients
- Formal yet simple
- Maintain perspective of the client in mind: is this helping my client's goals?
- Community at large
- Friendly
- Open to ideas yet gatekeepers of the roadmap and direction
Tools
These are the main tools we use for communication.
Each team is entitled to pick tools specific to their tasks, only if they don't replace communication through these channels.
